The Order of the Raven

Two hundred people are going to make this game exist.
This is how you become one of them.

We are two brothers with a finished game, over a hundred illustrations still to commission, and nowhere near enough money.

The Order is how we close that gap. No pretending it's anything other than what it is: you funding a thing you want to exist, early, while it still matters.

In return you get inside the workshop. Every card before anyone else sees it. Every argument we have about a mechanic. What the printer quoted, what we cut, what went wrong this month. not only that, but you will get a real say in decisions that will end up shaping the real contents of the game box.

  • A copy of King of Calabrion, included after 1 year's membership
  • The Order's token, sent when you join

What this isn't

This is patronage, not a pre-order and not an investment. You won't own a piece of Heromail and you won't make money from it.

If you cancel, you keep everything already sent to you — but you aren't owed a game. What you get is the access, the credit, and the knowledge that it got made because you were early.

Questions

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. Two clicks from your account page. No email, no phone call, nobody trying to talk you out of it.

What happens to my number if I leave?

It returns to the pool and the next member takes it. Rejoin later and you take whatever number is free.

Will the price go up?

Possibly. We'll tell you before it affects you, and you'll be able to decide then.

Do I still back the Kickstarter?

Only if you want to. You'll see it before anyone else. Your contribution has already been made.

What if the game is delayed?

It probably will be — everything in this industry is. We'll tell you why, in the dispatch, with the actual reason.

What if you never finish it?

Then you'll have watched two brothers try, in more detail than anyone outside the company, and we'll have told you the truth the whole way. We think that's worth something. If you don't, cancel.
